Blog Post 10/23 And Directions for the Day

Hey guys!

I wanted to send you guys a quick little blurb about today while I'm out.

You have two different things to do before next Friday.  I want to check in with each small objective that's on the back board on Monday so make sure you have something to show for it.  You need the website revamps and the Google Drive Project (The Welcome to Mooresville thing.)  Please get these done as you are in the class today.

Also take care of everything that comes up.

Also, today is a good time for you to check your grades.  If you have something that needs to be fixed, make sure it is 100% complete, and then you can email me.  I have to grade 530 webpages as well as the Google Project all next Friday, so that will take up the majority of time.  So any grade corrections need to be done by WEDNESDAY!!!

Remember, all of the projects that we've completed need to be on your digital portfolio for the grade to be changed.  Make sure it's also put in the correct Google Folder.

If you've already e-mailed me about your grade, I'll fix it on Monday/Tuesday of next week.  And as always, email me if you have any questions.  I'll be by my phone today for the most part, so I'll be able to respond to emails.

Also, I'm going to put your grade in for your Genius Hour project in on Monday.  I've been telling you all semester to make sure you have blog articles to showcase that you have been working on this.  It's a process, not a once over kind of thing.  It'll be worth about 10 points on your grade.  So my advice would be to blog today... and again on Monday... and maybe spend some time this weekend working on your Genius Hour.

Third to last, here's your blog article for the day.

1) What is Autopilot?
2) What does it do?
3) Whose fault is this?
4) Would you do this?
5) Would you buy a car that can do that?
6) What other features does Autopilot have?

Second to last,

Frank won't be here next week.  Make sure you tell him to enjoy his well earned vacation.

And lastly, I never tell you guys how awesome you are.  You should know that the only reason I feel comfortable to take a day off is because I'm very lucky to have all of you guys in my class.

Enjoy your weekend, stay out of trouble, see you on Monday!

P.S. Someone from 2nd period put a note on the board for Dalton and Riley to read this blog.

Thanks!
